"Opting Out"

Opting out coming for Hebrews 12:1. Therefore since we are surrounded by so great, a cloud of witnesses. Let us all lay aside, every weight and sin, which clings to us so closely. And let us run with endurance, the race that is set before us. Hallelujah in Hebrews 12:1 is a few things that I do almost every day. Before I leave work. And one of those things is checking and clearing out my email. In fact, I check my email multiple times throughout the day and one of the things that has become a real problem and I'm sure you're aware of, if you had female, is this Pam in the unwanted emails on your way.

I found when you inquire about something or if you buy something online and ask you to answer your email.

And then you're going to end up with a constant barrage of emails. It's like 10 unwanted emails for every email. You really need that most of them come from decent company. You found yourself there at one point you like, but they're sending emails that I don't have the time or interest to read at that moment. Come on. Now. If you know what I'm say, Amen are stealing my valuable and precious time from the things that I need to get done in life. So I started doing something about it. So I started opting out of these emails. I've been starting to right, click on these emails. Beautiful thing now, is I'm not wasting my time. Starting through the Clutter that taking me away from the time that I need to get things done in my day. It was right there in plain sight. The right click. We opted out there all the time but years and years and years. I've put up with all this stuff entering in my life. It's just you just stop. And that's what I want to talk to you about today. Paul said in Hebrews 12:1, therefore, since we are surrounded by so great. A cloud of witnesses. Let us lay aside every weight and clean store close to me. Let us run with endurance, the race that is set before us. What we fail to realize, what we fail to accept is that, we are surrounded by people who need to know who Jesus Christ is.

Listen, some fast facts is that 55% of the Americans will never go to church. No matter how hard we try, no matter how many churches we bills, or what type of churches, refills you see on the street corner Corners to church, 1 quarters a package or some poor time. There's two churches on the other side.

They're not coming and we have to ask ourselves. Why? Why are they not coming?

1st Peter 2:1 says we're for laying aside all malice. All guilin all the prophecies and envies and all evil speaking. How many people understand what the word hypocrisy means?

Getting off on me to face. It means phosphorus. There was a reason why Peter spoke about this, it's how I see what Paul said. When he said, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, why we are surrounded, why we are Compass around with so many witnesses over seven billion people in this world right now.

Another fast fact, we know that. It's been six thousand years of man's history on Earth. According to the Bible, understand something with me in the year, 1350. There were 300. Living on this plant. That's 5300 years of population growth. 350 million.

In 1804, there were 1 billion 1927, there were two billion. 66 through 3087002011. There are 7 billion people on this Earth. Can anybody say rat?

You see what I'm seeing here people. There's about 1 billion. Souls being born every 12, 13 years. This is crazy.

Seeing that in the first 5800 years. Of existence, it took to get 1 billion. Well, I said all that to say this, we need to recognize that God has us. That means you, and that means I care for such a time as this.

We should recognize the call of God that is on each and every one of our lives every single day. And if you think your witness doesn't matter, let me fill you in on a little secret. If the devil has told you that how you live your life in this world doesn't matter, and what you do, doesn't matter. And what you say doesn't matter, and how mad you are among 3.8 billion, people, that will go to church. I'm here to tell you the devil is a liar.

I'm here to tell you that it matters and that the devil is a liar. I'm here to tell you that your witness matters and that the devil is a liar. A list of it's not hypocritical to put some things away when it comes to our Witness. It's being a good Christian. Is my brother that I should eat meat?

Does that make you a hypocrite and makes you a good witness? Cuz your witness doesn't want to offend. Somebody doesn't want to turn that person away from the possibility to get closer to Christ. Call was more concerned about his brother's Soul, then where his next step was going to come from. We need to be concerned about what our Witnesses think. We need to be concerned about. What are witnesses say? Everyday people are looking at you.

And they're asking themselves is what that person has real. Is it genuine? Or we just like everybody else saying one thing, one moment and doing another creating chaos, creating Strife, creating confusion partaking in the rumor Mills. Here's what I understand. I understand that. I'm learning every single day. And it's always a little time for me to start opting out of things.

just because I've always done it, doesn't mean It makes it right, just people just because people around me are doing it. Doesn't make it right. We're not, we're not close to me and sincere. We are not called to be lukewarm. We're not call to be Earth's disturbers. We are not close to filling.

We are called to be more than conquerors through him that loved us.

Romans 8:37.

And that's going to have to take some opting out.

We're just going to have to start saying, no, to some things that made her name, may not be sin. Not in the grounds of sin, but on the ground, that it may be affecting our Witnesses.

Man, you're in charge of people's souls and how you act is going to determine whether that person ever wants to see Christ. Ever wants to come into a church.

Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.

What do you think you used the word? Moderation. Moderation is self-control being reasonable having some restraint, having some self-control.

You see? You're amongst that 3.8 million people. And I'm here to tell you that the devil is a liar. What you saying to enact doesn't matter. Jesus Christ loves all those people around you and how you live your life. Is a beacon. How you live your life in front of them? Is a Pekingese a light to like that. They may need in their life. It matters to them and it matters to God. Just how much does it matter to? God? Bhajan tells us. It's 3:16 for God. So loved the world and that to everybody, that he gave his only begotten, son, that whoever believes in him, should not perish. Everlasting life.

Sacrificed his life for the sake of the world. What can we set aside? What can we opt out on for that day? For that moment for that visitation?

Let me giving up steak for that meal and eating tofu. It works.

Not picking on anybody who like tofu.

Somebody, thank God for his grace and mercy, nobody thank God for the true people closer to Cheese's what happened to having power over the Devil in, I live. That's when they said, but you shall receive the power of the Holy Ghost has come upon you and you shall be a witness enough to me both in Jerusalem and all of Judea and Samaria. And unto the uttermost part of the Earth. It's just not about being saved or being lost. Is about being a witness to the world. What can you hunt in your life? What can you put aside for a little while in your life? It's about saying to the 3.8 million people out there any church? It's the time that Jesus loves you. And that he died for you. So you could be saved. The choo choo.

Can be part of God's family. Reaching the world in our father's name.

But you shall receive the power. After the Holy Ghost has come upon you.

Some of us need to get the power in our lives. It's too much spiritual chaos in this world. It's too much spiritual. Chaos. Chaos. There's too much. Worry and pain is too much anxiety going on in our minds. We need God to get ahold of our kids Spirits. We need God to get ahold of our kids.

Devil's having a field day in our lives.

It's time to say, I'm out, get out. It's time. To say, I'm opting out, I'm getting rid of the spam. I'm getting rid of the unnecessary. Junk. I'm getting rid of the garbage Mayan bobcats in my life, from my purpose, in life, in my life. I want the power of the Holy Ghost.

We got to get out of the the the barely saved. We got to get out and into the Abundant Life Life. That's means you got to get all in. We got to reach.

instead of walking by and judge,

Instead of walking by and pitying that person.

Shoe repair at. Lay your hands on me. And if you don't want to lay your hands on them, pray from them from a distance.

We got to get out of our worldview. We got to get out from stopping, the riding the fences at the reach. Should people people need their lives changed.

People. We can make life easy. Just Ariel on doing nothing. We can get out there and work. We can get out when we profess to say we are. And we say, we're Christians and Christians need to reach the people out the work. You got off. Of some things in your life, so you can reach the people. You got to opt out of some things in your life to reach the people.

Stop putting yourself first. Give up a little time. Give up a little meat.

Give up a little money. Give up a little clothes. Give up a little time.

People, we need to save lives. We need to show people, life-changing experience and the Soul Saving power of Jesus Christ. We can't do that. If we don't have the power of the Holy Spirit guiding and lifting us up. How are we supposed to get through what we got to get through all by yourselves? Reach out to your lord and savior. I doubt. Hopped out, Hebrews 12:1 is a lot of people out there that you're amongst. And a lot of people will not come to church. It's your job. To teach them to tell them about the gospel. I thought of the barriers in your life.
